Uh huh, "ankle injury."

Abraham reports Ensberg's ankle has been miraculously cured:

UPDATE, 7:46 p.m.: Morgan Ensberg survived. Shelley Duncan was just optioned to Triple-A Scranton. Why they wait to 15 minutes before the game to reveal that, I have no idea. But that’s the move.

Lugo makes it exciting, but Ump says they got him.

Bad call, Magglio beat the throw.

ARRRGH! I need to stop doing that!

Updates coming fast and furious:

Bruney is starting instead of Kennedy, for reasons unknown.

Pete Abe says it's an injury (he's guessing), but I've heard that the YES network is reporting that rain is coming and they don't want to waste Kennedy, so Bruney is starting.

Those fragile Yankees. IPK sidelined by rain!

Meanwhile, a dp for Cano kills the first for the Yanks.

Grudzielanek almost takes Bruney deep w/ 1 out in the 2nd. Yipes.

And the skies open up. Alex grounds out. Not sure why they're letting this go on....

Clearly Girardi is a genius. It's coming down cats and dogs, looks like.

Yanks make two quick outs....SLOW DOWN.

Major props to Joe G for not tossing IPK out there in this crap. Is he gonna protect the kids? Thus far, yes.

Wasn't Bruney thought of in Joba-ian terms back when he was a rookie?

Butler RIPS one. Woof. 2b.

Bruney hi heat Ks gload. Interesting to hear Coney talk about putting away a hitter....

Excuse me. Gordon Kd. Gload at the dish.

Bruney! Slider Ks Gload. Great pitch.

Bruney strikes out the side. Sweet Jesus.

Who needs IPK? Bruney Ks the side.

Who needs Posada? Molina doubles for the third time this season.

And he's stranded.

On comes Traber. Girardi doing his best to spread out the bullpen innings thus far.

Buck belts one. As much as we like to make fun of Farns, this one I'll let pass..

Gath is so annoying. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm down 6 SB's in my daily league, I would pick him up..

Obviously a bad move here, as Farns is handing out these passes by the dozen..

2 walk, 2 hits, and only 2 runs. If the Yanks are still as dangerous as people think they are, they better start hitting..

I thought yesterday's game was frustrating, but tonight might take the cake. And now they'll have to burn Ian anyway.

I don't get what's going on. Why is Ian pitching?

I don't get what's going on with this team, I really don't.

I don't know if I am more annoy by this team that can't score or last year's whose can't pitch.

All things considering, that wasn't a bad outing for the Yanks pitching. Unforunately, the hitting wasn't there at all..

I sure hope the offense picks up this weekend. Otherwise it'll be No Country for Old Men in the Red Sox Nation.
