Knuckle Sandwich: Sox-Rays Gamer I
Tim Wakefield is an unfathomable 19-3 lifetime against Tampa, and has punched the Rays in the mouth 9 rounds to 1 at the Trop, which may leave them wishing they stayed in MousePark. He gets the start tonight with personal catcher Kevin Cash behind the plate, as the flu has knocked several Sox for a loop including Tek, Beckett, Dice, and probably several others who are powering through; Francona has had to do a fair amount of juggling to field a team. Matt Garza gets his first start after returning from the 15-day DL.

Between Lester and Wakefield the Sox have two excruciatingly unwatchable pitchers.
Please let Masterson be the real deal.

Great patience Drew.

Hey, it's wierd saying that without the sarcasm!

*Prays for 2008 Lugo to be at the plate, and not 2007 Lugo*

Hooray for both Drew AND Lugo having plate discipline this year! 1-0 Sox on three straight walks.

Seriously, Wake, retire. Go away, please. Thanks for everything -- I really mean that. But you are just not watchable. Every fifth day I simply cannot watch the Red Sox. That's not fair!

"Manny Ramirez drinks your milkshake"
haha- humor keeps us breathing during trying times. 3 game losing streak. sigh.

The Sox are overrated. Don't be surprised if the Rays shock everyone. A little FYI: The sox didn't lose tonight's game because they choked. They lost it because the RAYS ARE THE BETTER team. Drink some water with that pill.

Straight hilariousness RFM. Enjoy the bitterness.
Posted by: Devine | Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 12:45 PM
Ahahaha it's tough not to be bitter when your team has never had a career over .500.
The Rays are good Ray-Fan-Man, if you read some of the prediction posts on this website you'll see that we all agree. But they're not better than the Red Sox, and probably not better than the Yankees. They'll continue to improve with their young talent for a while though.
In any case, there's no need to be a dick about it dude.

Tampa Bay will finish second to Boston in the east.
Posted by: TJ | Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 01:55 PM
I wouldnt say any of the teams in the AL east have proven they can pitch or win on a consistent basis this year.

Was just a feeling I had even before the season started. Im hoping my streak of wild predictions continues, Last spring before the season I picked a Sox vs Rox world series. :)
