Forgive Us Father, For We Have Sinned: Yanks-O's Gamer III
While the Pope is blessing their digs in the Bronx, our dear Bombers will be down Baltimore looking to atone for their third consecutive loss. Father Joe seemed altogether less than forgiving in his postgame homily yesterday. Today, Andy Pettitte throws against Steve Trachsel, who works with the deliberate pace of a certain octogenarian visitor to these parts. We'll hope for the best. Turn the other cheek. Etc. Comment here.

Come on, folks: one good "Boston Sucks" chant for the Pontif. No? "Let's Go Yan-Kees"??? This is still NY, right? Right?

Moeller doubles off the top of the wall in left.. missed a homer by a few inches. Traschel is out. Then Damon takes a 1-0 yard to right off of Chad Bradford. 4-0 Yanks in the seventh.
Great play by Adam Jones to rob Jeter of extra bases.

Millar just beats out a double to left.
ARod left the game with a strained right quad.

A 7-1 game delayed in the middle of the 9th inning? Seems a little silly to me...
