What is that, the NY Post?
These are the same mediots who were harping on A-Rod all last season, and were making a big deal of his and Jeter's relationship troubles in spring training. Not very many people have the same opinion...most of the NY media has. Think: do you agree with the Globe and the Herald all the time? I certainly don't lump SF opinions in with theirs.
I was kind of miffed that Clemens unretired. I was so certain that he was just going to hang up his cleats for good, but I certainly didn't burn an effigy of him. I was pissed that the Yankees didn't sign Pettitte (although that was the best thing they could have done...they got the Astros first round pick which turned into Phil Hughes) and I just kind of blamed the whole thing on them. I just wanted Roger to give his Hummer back.

No one's lumping anything, Andrew. Just thought it was funny, particuarly compared to the gushing these same writers are doing today.

Agreed, Paul. I genuinely don't like sports journalists.

Right, Paul, cause the tabloids are the standard bearers of truth - popular opinion be damned!
